Meet our first electric Racecar

    DRT once again innovates by making the leap to electrification according to the developments of the time. Introducing the E-XR1, our first electric car. A smart and original Formula Student car, designed and built entirely in-house in less than 12 months. The carbon-fiber exterior hides an intelligent 2 VCU system based on the ATMega 320P processor, which controls the powerful Emrax 208 electric motor, which transmits the drive to the rear wheels via a planetary drive system. The whole system is powered by the battery box, which consists of Enepaq cells and is controlled by the Orion 2 BMS.
